This is a contract notice published by a government body covering construction and works. Delivery covers Belgium (Europe). It is classified under Engineering and Infrastructure against the sustainability taxonomy rather than matched on keywords.

Summary

This Flemish provincial works contract builds a new section of the F423 and F424 cycle superhighways in Zelzate, including a cycle tunnel under the railway line and a link to the F40 ring route. It suits experienced civil and tunnelling contractors, as the scope is a large railway-crossing structure rather than a sustainability-specific specialist service.

About this tender

Key requirements

  • ✓Construction of a cycle tunnel passing under the railway line in Zelzate
  • ✓Connection of the F423 and F424 cycle superhighways to the Dutch border route, F40 and existing F423
  • ✓Works execution on a live rail-adjacent site with cycling infrastructure standards
