About this tender
KfW Entwicklungsbank is procuring an independent, internationally experienced Implementation Consultant (IC) to support the Project-Executing Agency (PEA) and the Project Coordination Unit (PCU) during implementation of the Water Sector Performance and Investment Programme II (WPIP II) in Albania. The programme measures cover rehabilitation and extension of water supply systems in Lezha and Shkodra, including transmission mains, distribution systems, household connections and water metering. The IC will support the Employer/PEA in its role as FIDIC Engineer under the FIDIC Pink Book MDB Edition. Required services include preparing conceptual and detailed designs, cost estimates, a priority list of components to be implemented within available funding, and a procurement plan. The IC will also prepare tender documents, support tender processes, and prepare contract awards for construction works and the supply of goods and services.
