About this tender
Renovation and reconstruction of the UW Riet substation (operated by Swissgrid AG), a 220/50 kV facility commissioned in the early 1970s. The open-air switchgear requires renovation; spare parts for hydraulically-driven disconnectors and switches are scarce. Secondary technology and ancillary systems have reached end-of-life and require replacement. The scope includes: preparation works (site setup, provisioning, dismantling, removal), terrain shaping, structural and finishing works (foundations, drainage, track adjustments, edging, surfacing), electrical installations (lighting, grounding), cable conduit blocks and shafts, and acceptance testing (FAT, SAT, IBN). Work must occur within an operational substation (up to 220 kV) and near railway tracks. Duration: 28 February 2027 to 30 December 2027. No extension permitted. Bidder eligibility
EK 1: Registration and qualification in SAP Ariba Business Network. EK 2: Acceptance of contract draft and general terms. EK 3: Economic financial capacity. EK 4: Provider experience. EK 5: Language proficiency of site manager/construction supervisor. Bidding consortia (ARGE) permitted; each member must register and qualify on Ariba. Subcontracting permitted; characteristic performance must be performed by bidder (Art. 31 Abs. 3 BöB). Multiple tenders from consortia not permitted.
How bids are scored
ZK 1 - Price: 50%. ZK 2 - Project analysis: 20%. ZK 3 - Key personnel experience: 15%. ZK 4 - Hazard assessment and concrete occupational safety and environmental protection measures: 10%. ZK 5 - Sustainability efforts: 5%. Detailed criteria in tender documentation.
