About this tender
The Kreis Dithmarschen (Kreisverwaltung, Der Landrat) plans the new construction of the Zentrum für Feuerwehrwesen und Bevölkerungsschutz (ZFB, Centre for Fire Service and Civil Protection) in the municipality of Hemmingstedt. This tender covers the electrical installation work for the building. The main building will receive a 500 kVA emergency power generator feeding a central main low-voltage distribution board (NSHV), plus an external emergency power feed implemented via a wall-mounted safe. A PV system is planned but is not part of this tender, though it must be taken into account. Eleven sub-distribution boards will be fed from the NSHV throughout the building. A battery system with six battery sub-stations will supply the emergency lighting on a separate circuit. The emergency lighting scope comprises 138 escape route signs, 241 LED safety luminaires, 87 emergency light monitoring modules and 2 remote display modules. Further scope includes: blind/shutter systems on the upper floor (east side) controlled by a weather station, with seven motors, four KNX push-button switches and programming; connection of smoke and heat extraction (RWA) equipment supplied by the client (11 motor connections, 4 weather stations, 30 installation devices, approx. 325 m of cable); about 210 connections for other technical equipment; and supply, installation and commissioning of sockets (approx. 560 Schuko, 136 CEE/combination), switches and push-buttons (250, 32 KNX), flush boxes, presence detectors (177, 127 KNX), 73 cable reel systems, 3 KNX weather stations and 2 floor standing columns. Approximately 100 floor boxes (about 150 sockets, some serving as inspection tanks) are to be installed in the raised floor and floor build-up. Preparation for the low-voltage data/weak-current trade is included. The lighting scope includes roughly 1,900 luminaires of various types (recessed, surface-mounted, trough, exterior, floor-standing). Equipotential bonding (about 85 installations and 233 connections, approx. 565 m of cable), around 30 surge protection devices, and extensive cabling and containment (approx. 24,000 m of cable, 985 m of fire-resistant cable, 900 m of conduit, 60 m of skirting trunking, 140 m of fire-resistant tray, 260 m of underfloor tray and 1,200 m of cable tray) are included. Three roof lightning-conductor/ventilation items (Schwanenhälse) will be supplied for installation by the roofing trade. An outdoor training ground with a free-standing fire training…

About this sector
Energy storage funding spans batteries, long-duration storage, thermal storage and the controls that dispatch them. Research calls focus on chemistry and system cost. Demonstration programmes test grid services, while tenders buy capacity, flexibility and installation contracts. Buyers usually want evidence of safety certification, round-trip efficiency and a credible route to grid connection.
