About this tender

The procurement covers a comprehensive electricity service, as defined in the Polish Energy Law (art. 3 pt 30 and art. 5 sec. 3), for members of the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis purchasing group. The contractor would supply electricity and provide electricity distribution services for the consumption points of the contracting authorities and their organisational units, based on the estimated volumes specified in the Specification (OPZ). The delivery period runs from 01.01.2027 to 31.12.2028, a 24-month term. The contract is specific to sites with photovoltaic installations. The contractor must settle electricity generated and fed back into the grid in line with the Renewable Energy Sources Act, preserving the net-metering scheme under art. 4 sec. 1 pts 1 or 2 and art. 4 sec. 1a pt 1 lit. a or b, depending on installed capacity. Under art. 4 sec. 4 pt 2, the contractor bears distribution charges on the difference between energy drawn from and fed into the grid. Distribution charges are billed under the current DSO tariffs, and the contracting authorities pay them.
