The Berlin the department is planning the replacement construction of the Mühlendammbrücke in Berlin Mitte. The bridge carries the Bundesstraße 1 (Federal Road 1) from Molkenmarkt to Fischerinsel across the Spree River near the Mühlendammschleuse.
