Mit dem Bundes-Klimaschutzgesetz (KSG), das die Erfüllung der nationalen Klimaschutzziele gewährleisten soll und mit dem Klimaschutzplan 20250 festgelegte Klimaschutz- und Sektorziele gesetzlich verankert hat, soll in Deutschland bis zum Jahr 2045 die Treibhausgasneutralität erreicht werden.
