The Institut Català de la Salut (ICS), through the Gerència de compres of the Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol in Badalona, is procuring maintenance and cleaning services for the interior and exterior gardens of the hospital. Technical environmental requirements also apply (environmental criteria are scored). Offers must be drafted in Catalan or Spanish.

Bidder eligibility

Economic and financial solvency: the bidder must present an overall business volume (annual turnover) equal to or greater than the estimated contract value, evidenced by a responsible statement of the company's overall business volume. Technical and professional solvency: the bidder must have carried out services of the same or similar nature within the last three years. For companies that are service providers of equal or similar nature, the cumulative annual amount in the year of greatest execution must be at least half of the annual base tender budget. Evidence is by certificates or declarations of good quality production. The bidder must accept the special execution conditions (gender equality plan, social, ethics and data protection). The Spanish-language and Catalan-language submission rules apply.

How bids are scored

Multi-criteria award with a price/quality split: - Price: 40 points (automatic evaluation). - Other qualitative criteria evaluated automatically: 60 points in total, of which the disclosed sub-criteria are: organisation, qualifications and experience of the assigned personnel (6 points) and environmental criteria (14 points).
