In seiner jetzigen neoklassizistischen Erscheinung wurde das Opernhaus im Jahr 1818 erstmals eröffnet. Fünf Jahre später wurde das Haus durch einen Brand zur Gänze zerstört und erneut aufgebaut. Der zweite Wiederaufbau nach der Zerstörung im Zweiten Weltkrieg bis auf die Außenmauern fand in den Jahren 1958 – 1963 statt. …
