About this tender

Ferrocarril Metropolità de Barcelona, SA (TMB) is procuring a maintenance service for the by-pass installations, known as 'Drens Californians', that drain the aquifer at Badalona Pompeu Fabra metro station. The by-pass system is a single integrated hydraulic system (pumps, pipework, sensors and control systems), so the contract is not divided into lots. The buyer argues that splitting it by component type would break its functional unity and create structural safety risks. The contract runs for 4 years, with unit-price pricing, no price revision, no extensions, no planned modifications and no variants. The CPV code is 71600000-4 (technical testing, analysis and consultancy services). Execution is in Barcelona (NUTS ES511). Contract conditions include maintaining the workers' employment conditions under the applicable collective agreement for the full contract period, data protection obligations under national and EU law (classed as an essential contractual obligation), and a low-risk information security commitment. The contractor must start certification of its information security management system within 6 months of award, if it relies on its own system rather than an existing certification. The notice on the page is an amendment, published as an extension of the bid submission deadline. The original notice was published 26/10/2026 at 09:28.
