About this tender
In 2024, the four German TSOs (4GTSO) - the funder, Amprion GmbH, TenneT TSO GmbH and TransnetBW GmbH - jointly concluded contracts, following an EU-wide procurement process, for the research and development of 525 kV Bipole HVDC single-vendor Multiterminal systems. This technology allows the flexible interconnection of multiple HVDC lines, so-called DC-Hub projects.
