Auf dem Areal befinden sich zusätzlich eine Bestandssporthalle, die erhalten bleibt, sowie eine Wärmestation, die neu errichtet wird. Die Wärmestation dient der Versorgung des neuen Schulkomplexes sowie der bestehenden Sporthalle. Die Wärmestation wird zeitgleich mit dem neuen Schulkomplex errichtet.
