Cairngorms National Park Authority is procuring the supply and installation of solar panels and battery storage on roof spaces. The works extend recent building works and will connect the new solar installation to the Authority's existing power distribution supply at the Extension, Nos 15 and 16, and the external buildings. The installation is intended to power vehicle and bicycle charging, supply the heating system, and store any surplus generated power. The contract is a works contract under an open procedure, with an estimated value of GBP 83,300 excluding VAT and a duration of 9 months. It is not subject to renewal, and variants and options are not permitted. The buyer has published engineering drawings and floor and site plans (foundation plan, ground floor slab plan, ground and first floor plans, section, and detail drawings), along with location images and electricity consumption data.
