About this tender
The Municipality of Guttet-Feschel (represented by SRP Ingenieur AG) intends to use the energy potential of spring water from the Bachalp for hydroelectric generation. In 2023 the old drinking-water pipeline between the spring chamber on the Bachalp (about 2,000 m a.s.l.) and the pressure-breaker shaft (about 1,467 m a.s.l.) was fully renewed and designed as a pressure pipeline. The project adds a new powerhouse adjacent to the existing pressure-breaker shaft, from which the turbined spring water is discharged without pressure into that shaft. The tender covers engineering and sizing, manufacturing, transport, installation, testing and commissioning, including training, for the complete electromechanical equipment operating on drinking water. The scope runs from the mountain-side flange upstream of the shut-off device to the terminals of the low-voltage distribution supplied by others in the powerhouse. Indicative schedule, subject to confirmation of the subsidy commitment: civil works start mid-April 2027; start of electromechanical installation mid-August 2027, with any embedded parts for the concrete works to be provided beforehand; commissioning mid-November 2027. Contract duration is not specified and the contract may be extended. The place of performance is 3956 Guttet-Feschel, Valais, Switzerland. Full technical requirements are set out in the specification (Pflichtenheft), which is available only to registered and logged-in users on simap.ch.
