ACT - Step by Step (non-industry) 2026 Grant
Agence de la transition écologique (ADEME)
In context
This call is open to small and medium-sized businesses, large companies and consultancies and professional-services firms. Funding is a grant of Jusqu'à 80% du coût de l'étude, dans un maximum de 30 000 €. Coverage is read from the notice itself: France.
ADEME co-funds up to 80% of a low-carbon strategy study (ACT Pas à Pas, 12-18 months) that helps non-industrial companies rethink their business model and build a decarbonisation roadmap and action plan. The programme is aimed at non-industrial French businesses seeking structured support to cut greenhouse gas emissions.
About this grant
ACT Pas-à-Pas and ACT Évaluation are two support services under ADEME's 'Mon parcours économies d'énergie' programme for non-industrial (tertiary) organisations that want to decarbonise their activities. The ACT (Assessing low-Carbon Transition) methodology helps organisations build a greenhouse gas emissions reduction strategy and an associated transition plan that secures the long-term viability of their operations. ACT Pas-à-Pas supports organisations in constructing their low-carbon strategy and action plan. It targets non-industrial tertiary structures of any size and requires a greenhouse gas assessment (bilan GES) less than two years old covering all significant emission sources. Its objective is to define a decarbonisation trajectory and structure a strategy and associated action plan. The estimated duration is 12 to 18 months. ACT Évaluation assesses the maturity of an existing transition plan. It targets the same organisations and requires an existing transition plan. Its objective is to test the robustness of that plan by checking its alignment with the Paris Agreement goal. The estimated duration is 3 to 6 months. Both services cover climate change mitigation only. The support must be delivered by a consultancy trained in the ACT method and holding a licence to use the ACT tools. Applications are filed on ADEME's Agir platform, which requires an account.
