Eligible projects must address environmental conservation and social equity themes aligned with the foundation's focus areas.
About this grant
The Norsys Foundation aims to preserve the planet and reduce social injustices. The foundation operates in France and Morocco, supporting associative projects that contribute to environmental preservation and social equity. In Morocco, the foundation has specialized for several years in supporting the development of small agroecological enterprises in partnership with the NGO Agrisud International, having supported over 600 family farms in the Marrakech province and surrounding areas. In France, the foundation supports projects through its annual Trophées (awards programme) and through projects chosen locally by Norsys employees (easymakers). The foundation integrates into its employee onboarding by inviting new staff to participate in half-day skills volunteering, particularly in digital inclusion. It launches calls for projects twice per year to award the Trophées de la fondation, organizes collective volunteering activities, and supports skills-based volunteering projects developed within its agency offices.

Eligibility
Associative organizations (non-profits) located in Norsys Foundation's territories (France and Morocco) that are engaged in preserving the planet and combating social injustices are eligible. In Morocco, priority has been given to small agricultural enterprises (TPE) working in agroecology. In France, projects may be either winners of the Trophées de la fondation or locally selected by Norsys employees.
How it's scored
Applications are judged through a Trophées (awards) process. The foundation evaluates projects based on their contribution to environmental preservation (water, air, biodiversity, renewable energy, forests, oceans, living soils) or social equity (addressing educational difficulties, disabilities, precarity, and promoting access to education, health, and employment). Evaluation appears to include employee voting for a 'coup de coeur' (favorite award) category. Specific scoring weightings are not detailed.
