About this grant

The European Regional Development Fund (FEDER) 2021-2027 is designed to strengthen economic, social, and territorial cohesion in the European Union by correcting imbalances between regions and facilitating investments in a smarter, greener, more connected, more social Europe that is closer to its citizens. FEDER is financed through shared responsibility between the European Commission and national and regional authorities of member states. The administrations of member states select the projects to be financed and assume responsibility for their daily management. For the 2021-2027 period, IDAE acts as an Intermediate Body designated by the General Directorate of European Funds of the Ministry of Finance, with functions attributed as a Managing Authority to address actions within Political Objective 2 relating to the promotion of energy efficiency and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, energy transition, deployment of renewable energies, and storage and demand management.
