About this grant

The THRIVE Global Impact Challenge is an annual global search for the most innovative startups advancing a more sustainable future for agriculture. The challenge addresses the urgency of the climate crisis and the need for disruptive innovation to create a more sustainable, prosperous, inclusive, healthy and equitable future. The program focuses on three primary impact areas: soil health and biodiversity (including regenerative agriculture, bio-based pest control, novel crop nutrition, diversified ecosystems, and transition finance), increasing food security (optimizing resource use, promoting climate-resilient agriculture, automating on-farm operations, improving supply chain efficiency, and reducing waste), and reducing and offsetting emissions (through renewable energy, energy efficiency, carbon capture technologies, and sustainable transportation). The challenge seeks Seed to Series A stage startups that are developing innovative solutions to address these critical agricultural and environmental challenges.
