About this grant

The Horizon Europe programme funds the development and deployment of harbour infrastructure and operations that are environmentally sustainable, circular and climate-resilient across EU coastal regions. The call supports the Restore our Ocean and Waters Mission by backing projects that reduce emissions from ports, apply circular economy approaches, strengthen resilience to climate impacts and protect marine ecosystems. Port authorities, maritime operators, research institutions, universities, nonprofits and local authorities may apply, as well as multi-stakeholder consortia. Projects should be at prototype, pilot or mature scale. Grants of €5,500,000 to €5,950,000 per project are available. The call opens on 9 February 2027 and closes on 21 September 2027.
