About this grant
The SAIS Investment Readiness Programme (IRP) is offered by SAIS, an accelerator focused on digital agriculture innovations through start-ups. Start-ups that join the IRP receive a set of tailor-made services designed to help them become investment ready. The page describes these services as including, but not limited to, access to mentors and experts across start-up development and sector-specific topics such as agriculture, livestock, climate change and the circular economy. Additional support is described as 'wildcard' services: highly customised help such as legal advice, marketing skills, visibility services, access to licences or hardware, and more. Investor interaction is another component, with access to SAIS's investor and partner network, pitch training, and preparation for investor negotiations aimed at raising growth funding. Participants are also invited to the annual SAIStival conference and one or more start-up industry events, and gain access to a peer community of current cohort members and alumni for networking and partnership building. The programme includes special services for female founders and female start-up staff, including the Female Leader Circle and the Female Founder Award.
