Οι Δράσεις Προτεραιότητας Ι και ΙΙ επικεντρώνονται στην ενίσχυση της ενεργειακής αυτονομίας των νησιών μέσω της αξιοποίησης των Ανανεώσιμων Πηγών Ενέργειας (ΑΠΕ). Ειδικότερα, περιλαμβάνουν την εγκατάσταση φωτοβολταϊκών συστημάτων σε συνδυασμό με συστήματα αποθήκευσης ενέργειας σε μπαταρίες, την ανάπτυξη σταθμών ΑΠΕ και την εγκατάσταση υβριδικών συστημάτων ΑΠΕ.
