About this tender
The Stadt Lahr is procuring engineering services, under a negotiated procedure with prior call for competition pursuant to §17 VgV, for the upsizing of the main sewer (Hauptsammler) in the Freiburger Straße / Kanadaring / Eisenbahnstraße / Alte Rheinstraße area. The measure is listed in the planning documents as Maßnahme 1.2. The current planning basis provides for upsizing the main sewer to DN 1400 in the stated area. The scope covers developing and implementing the required construction measure, including its connection to the existing sewer network. The exact extent and design of the section to be upsized is to be refined using the existing as-built and planning documents. The DN 1400 dimensioning must be verified in later planning stages against the hydraulic boundary conditions of the drainage system and the results of the updated General Drainage Plan (Generalentwässerungsplan, GEP). The design must account for local site conditions, including connections to the existing network, traffic and property situations, and existing utility and other infrastructure. Connections and transitions to the existing system must be designed according to the chosen technical solution. The measure must keep the existing drainage function operational. The contractor must therefore plan a suitable construction approach that ensures wastewater conveyance during construction, including construction phases, section-by-section diversions, or temporary solutions where needed. The engagement is intended to deliver a technically suitable, economical and durably operationally reliable solution. It is also meant to accompany the project from further planning refinement through to physical implementation. The notice does not state a contract duration.
