About this tender

The Institut Català d'Oncologia (ICO) is procuring a joint, multi-lot service for the collection, transport and management of waste at the Hospital Duran i Reynals, the ICO facilities at Hospital Josep Trueta (Girona), the ICO facilities at Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol (Badalona), and other attached centres. The contract is divided into three lots: Lot 1 (Hospital Duran i Reynals, Hospitalet de Llobregat, with IDIBELL), Lot 2 (ICO Girona) and Lot 3 (ICO Badalona). The CPV codes are 90500000-2 (refuse and waste related services) and 90524400-0 (collection, transport and disposal of hospital waste). The initial term is two years, with one annual extension that is mandatory for the contractor and optional for the ICO. The contract uses unit prices. Prices are not subject to revision. Modifications are permitted to address increased waste volumes from higher care activity or extraordinary health emergency measures, at the unit prices offered, up to 75,000.00 EUR excluding VAT for Lot 1, 14,096.74 EUR for Lot 2 and 27,274.90 EUR for Lot 3, as stated in the notice. The procurement is an open procedure under the ordinary procedure, subject to harmonised EU rules, and is published in the OJEU (TED notice 711898-2026). Variants are not admitted. Bidders must comply with the environmental technical specifications and with the social execution conditions covering occupational health and safety, collective agreements, employment stability and gender equality. A mandatory site visit is required, and failure to attend leads to exclusion. No framework or electronic auction is used. The notice was amended to correct a material error, and the ICO has stated that the corrected amounts in the material correction report and resolution govern.
