About this grant
The Packaging Reuse Grants (Aides au réemploi des emballages) are offered by ADEME, the French Agency for Ecological Transition, to support the development of reuse of industrial and commercial packaging (EIC). The programme responds to the AGEC law of 10 February 2020 and the Climate and Resilience law of 22 August 2021, which set a national target of 10% of packaging reused by 2027. The aid aims to reduce waste production and pressure on natural resources by extending the lifespan of packaging. The grant can finance preliminary studies and experiments that precede an investment, as well as the investments themselves. Studies and experiments can be funded up to 80% of eligible costs, and investment aid can cover up to 60% of eligible costs. Applicants are directed to ADEME's guides on expense categorisation and on submitting applications, and must file through the AGIR platform, which requires an account. The aid is shown as in progress for the period 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026.
