About this grant
This call for projects (EcoIDEN, part of France 2030 run by ADEME) funds innovative demonstrator projects and industrialisation projects that build a responsible digital sector. It targets two themes. The first is resilient and sustainable data infrastructure, including energy and water efficiency and the recovery of waste heat (chaleur fatale). The second is the circular economy for digital equipment, covering longer use of new and refurbished equipment through eco-design, repair, and reuse, as well as industrialisation and robotisation of the reuse sector. The programme addresses the environmental footprint of data centres and digital equipment by supporting solutions that are ready to scale beyond prototype. Its focus is on industrialisation and demonstration rather than early-stage research. A minimum total project cost of 2 million euros applies. For non-economic projects that produce commons or involve social and solidarity economy (ESS) actors, the threshold is lowered to 500 thousand euros. The call has a first review date on 29 October 2026 at 15:00, and a final closing date on 9 December 2027 at 15:00. A mandatory pre-submission meeting with ADEME must take place at least one month before each review date, and applicants are asked to send Annex 2 beforehand. Applications are filed through the AGIR platform, which requires an account.

Eligibility
Open to companies acting alone or in collaboration with research organisations, public establishments, or local authorities, where collaboration is optional. The call is listed for all French regions.
