About this grant
This ADEME scheme aims to upgrade each territory in Overseas France and Corsica in terms of sorting, treatment, recovery and disposal of waste, with projects adapted to local context. It takes account of the specific waste management challenges of these territories by supporting first studies and then structuring investments that facilitate sorting and recovery of waste and its final treatment. Eligible investments named on the page include creation or renovation of civic waste recovery centres (déchèteries) and sorting and transfer centres for local authorities; creation or renovation of professional sorting centres and déchèteries; creation of composting platforms; creation of refuse-derived fuel (CSR) preparation centres; creation of energy recovery installations; creation or extension of waste storage sites; and clearing of illegal dumps (résorption des dépôts sauvages). The aid is open to public or private actors. Applications are filed through the ADEME Agir platform, which requires an account. Applicants are advised to contact the regional ADEME directorate covering their project before applying to confirm eligibility criteria and receive technical guidance. The programme is active for the 2026 calendar year.

Eligibility
The scheme applies to public or private actors, including local authorities (collectivités) and businesses (entreprises, administrations). Eligibility is limited to projects located in the listed overseas territories and Corsica: Corse, Guadeloupe, Guyane, La Réunion, Martinique, Mayotte, Nouvelle-Calédonie, Polynésie française, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin, Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, Terres australes et antarctiques françaises, and Wallis et Futuna.
