About this grant
ADEME provides financial support for the creation, extension or modernisation of sorting centres for business (economic activity) waste and of professional waste collection facilities (déchèteries pour professionnels). France's existing fleet of roughly 450 such sorting installations represents about 7 million tonnes of sorting capacity for non-hazardous, non-inert waste, and ADEME aims to expand it to meet objectives set by the energy transition law (LTECV) and the anti-waste and circular economy law. The scheme supports public or private project holders developing sorting centres and professional waste collection sites aimed at material and energy recovery. Eligibility
The aid is open to public or private actors, including local authorities (collectivités) and private companies, that are developing sorting centres for business waste or professional waste collection sites. The scheme is available in the regions of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Bretagne, Centre-Val de Loire, Grand Est, Hauts-de-France, Île-de-France, Normandie, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Occitanie and Pays de la Loire. Detailed eligibility and funding conditions are set out in a separate 2026 conditions document, and applicants should check eligibility with the relevant ADEME regional office. The call runs from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026 unless closed earlier.
