ADEME provides financial support to create, extend, or modernize sorting centers for business waste (déchets d'activité économique) and professional waste disposal facilities (déchèteries pour professionnels). The program aims to facilitate material and energy recovery of non-hazardous and non-inert waste from economic activities. Industrial sorting is an essential step to prepare waste for material or energy valorization.
