Shipping and Maritime funding

This is a funding call from the Swedish Energy Agency for charging infrastructure projects that enable vessel electrification in ports. It supports organizations developing and deploying ship charging systems to decarbonize maritime transport.

The Ministry of Shipping and Paradip Port Trust is hiring a 60-tonne bollard pull battery-operated electric tug for port operations. Suited to marine operators or tug-owning SMEs that can supply and operate an electric harbour tug at Paradip.

India's Directorate General of Shipping is procuring consultancy services for a Strategic Technical Support Unit to support its National Maritime Decarbonization Policy Framework. Suited to policy, technical and maritime-decarbonisation consultancies or firms able to staff a government-facing advisory unit.

Kristiansand Havn IKS seeks supply of a cable management system (CMS), outlet cabinets and the interfaces needed to connect them to its onshore power (shore power) installation for ships. It suits electrical equipment suppliers and SMEs able to deliver port electrification hardware and integrate it with an existing shore power system.

PAMI is a French grant programme run by VNF that co-funds inland waterway vessel owners and operators to modernise fleets, cutting fuel use, emissions and pollutant discharges and adopting onboard renewable energy. It covers freight, passenger and rental pleasure boats, with awards of €20,000 to €500,000 depending on the project.

This RVO subsidy scheme funds Dutch shipowners for zero-emission vessels powered by hydrogen or methanol, covering newbuilds and retrofits, plus energy-saving technologies and battery packs. Applications are open from 6 October 2026 to 9 February 2027.

This Dutch government subsidy scheme funds collaborative projects that develop and demonstrate emissionless (zero-emission) ships, open to consortia including SMEs, research institutions and knowledge organisations. Applications are accepted from 19 May 2026 to 3 November 2026, for both large and small projects.

The PAMI programme provides ADEME and Voies Navigables de France financial aid to help France's inland waterway fleet cut fuel use and emissions, adopt renewable energy, integrate waterway logistics, and fund innovative solutions. It is aimed at barge operators, passenger boat owners, charter operators and technical service providers for the innovation track.
